Beige Toned Wood & Black MCM 9 Drawer Dresser / Sideboard

This vintage MCM dresser has been modernized in a natural revealed wood grain tone. I used a beige/tan wash to tone down the orangey brown after sanding down and revealing the wood veneer. Now it’s nice and neutral in its fresh new tone! The edges/frame, legs as well as the hand pull areas of the middle row have been painted in black for contrast. New black handles and knobs really modernize this one. I love that there are 6 longer drawers on the sides and the middle ones are smaller. This piece is very unique with the mix of original hardware as well as the protruding edges which give it very unique lines. This piece has been top coated in satin poly for durability as well as the interior drawer bottoms. The black is not matte – it’s sealed in satin so it’s wipeable – the nice part about the black on this is that the wood on the top is where dust normally falls and isn’t noticeable, yet you still have that nice pop of black without the hassle of much dust showing! This is quite the heavy dresser for not being too large. Definitely not a flimsy MCM type of dresser. There is so much storage versatility within this dresser – not too long, not too short. This would be fabulous as a TV stand, sideboard, change table, front entryway piece, office storage, or as a regular dresser! Drawers slide nicely and are sturdy. Dimensions are 58.25” wide, 17.75” deep and 30” tall.

Please note that the back of this dresser is not whitewashed – it is made of a different backing material than the rest of the piece so I’m unable to do it in the same fashion. I understand in certain situations that you may want the back painted especially if it’ll be visible – if that’s the case we can talk about what shade might be right to paint it, perhaps the same color as the edges. If you’d like the back painted it will add $150 to the order. Please message me prior to purchasing so I can adjust the price in the shop.

LOCAL PICKUP/DELIVERY – Pickup and viewings are by appointment. Located in Martensville, Saskatchewan just 10 mins north of Saskatoon. Pickup/viewing appointments to be coordinated between the hours of 10 AM – 6 PM Monday – Friday. Saskatoon & Area delivery is available for an additional $125 – please use the drop down to add this to your order if you’re wanting delivery.
